Burnsville Anglers is proud to offer our specialized backcountry guided fishing trips - which offer a first class experience to a remote river. With numerous years of research on lakes and rivers in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, and field studies on the habitat of fish we have found the absolute best times to operate our guided excursions to offer our clients with the best fishing through a number of different seasons. Burnsville Anglers is able to offer these demanding, one-of-a-kind fishing trips to our clients starting from March through October on any given year.
These trips are designed to provide our clients with a truly unique fishing experience. One of our professional guides will take you up one of the headwater rivers that runs into a pristine river. Once you get to the river, the adventure begins! You will strap on your waders and begin fly fishing one of our most remote backcountry rivers! Our guides have over 18 years of professional fishing experience and are very patient and courteous.

Back Country Guide Trip Rates

Full Day: 8 Hours, 2 persons - $375.00

Half Day: 4 Hours, 2 Persons - $275.00

Fishing License and Cancellation Policy

Mandatory fishing licenses must be purchased before each outing. Contact your fishing guide to learn more about purchasing your fishing license.
Cancellations made two weeks (15 days) prior to a scheduled trip will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7 days prior to the scheduled date will forfeit 50% of the trip's booked cost. Cancellations within 48 hours of the trip requires payment in full. If you are unable to make your arranged trip, or would like to reschedule please call our main line (828) 691-1506, to let our other clients fish!
